Our fantastic facilities include two TV rooms and a spacious bar area with 4 pool tables and nightly entertainment to guarantee our guests have a good time. Nightly entertainment includes Themed Parties, Pool competitions, Twister, Bingo, Quiz nights and of course our famous $3 Burger Salad and Chips –night every Thursday. The Barracks Bar provides a unique social area in our Great Hall and one can sit around our illuminated whisky barrels and enjoy superb cold draught beer and a wide variety of Australian wines and beverages. A team of friendly staff are on hand to give advice and help and do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. The Old Swan Barracks is a great place to meet fellow travellers.

The Old Swan Barracks is conveniently located within minutes of the City Centre, Post Office, Supermarket and a great variety of restaurants and bars .It is also within easy reach from the airport and is serviced by the Airport Shuttle which stops right at the Hostel Main entrance. The train and bus terminals are right next to us so it is easy to get to the beach or anywhere in Perth. There is an ATM in the premises. Breakfast is provided free of charge and consists of cereals/toast/jams/tea/coffee. Milk and juice can be purchased at Reception. Our 24-hour reception makes it easy for those arriving late and there is always a Manager on Duty.
